He is survived by: his wife Nellie Jo (Bransteitter); his sister Anna Dolores "Dee" Ready of Independence, MO; his children, Paul Ready (Naty), Linda Smitka of Independence, MO, Annette Scranton of Blue Springs, MO and Melissa Cramer (Joseph) of Independence, MO; his granddaughter Jennifer Smitka (Brandon) of Liberty, MO; and his children, Tamera Speer (Ryan) of Independence, MO, Kimberly Newell (Daniel) of Independence, MO, Samantha Goodman (Zach) of Republic, MO, Katie Scranton (Andrew) of Lee's Summit, MO, Ashley Huebner (Mickel) of Harrisonville, MO and Brandi Boehm of Brooklyn, NY. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
