With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joan Turner in Independence, Missouri, born in Concordia, Kansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, William George and Lola George; and her brothers, David, Theodore and James Larry George.
She is survived by: her husband Roy Turner; her children, Michael Turner, Cathy Turner and Beth Fuehring (Kevin); her grandchildren, Amee Snyder (Brian) and Katherine Weatherman (Chris); her great grandchildren, Ezzra Weatherman, Milez Weatherman, Bentley Weatherman, Levi Weatherman, Tryndamere Snyder, Lincoln Weatherman, Rhys Weatherman, Finnian Snyder and Iris Weatherman; and her siblings, William J. George (Peggy) and Jeannie Barber.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pleasant Grove Bible Church (4916 Lees Summit Rd, Kansas City, MO 64136). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
