With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jo-Dale Chevalier of Independence, Missouri, born in Miami, Missouri, who passed away on May 17, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustave "Gussie" Chevalier and Vessie L. Rose Chevalier; his spouse Gale Guffin Dudenhoeffer; his son Steven Chevalier; his siblings, Uel Chevalier, Herman Chevalier, Russell "Duke" Chevalier, James Chevalier, Buddy Chevalier, Betty Coleman and Dora Narron; and his daughter Mary Carolyn Chevalier.

He is survived by: his daughters, Barbara Chevalier and Peggy Chevalier; his grandchildren, Hannah Edwards, Lillie Edwards and Major Edwards III; his great grandchildren, Mariana Miles and Eli Comer; his sister Bonnie Boedeker; his stepchildren, Kirk Dudenhoeffer (Francine), Claire Oser, William Dudenhoeffer (Diane) and Amy Cash; and his stepgrandchildren, Melissa, Kayla Dudenhoeffer, Chad, Jared Oser, Gavin, Kendall and Morgan Cash. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
