He was predeceased by: his siblings, Betty Thomas, Kenneth Meyer and Charles Meyer. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Jean Meyer (Barnett); his children, Troy Meyer (Christi) and Jodi Schrumpf (Ken); his grandchildren, Corey, Justin, Brooke (Shane), Abigail, Emily and Allison; his great grandchildren, Elijah, Adler and Callan; and his brother Gerald Meyer (Chris).
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Jewell can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project via Dickey Funeral Home, an organization he passionately supported.
