It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeremy Charles Empson (Independence, Missouri), who passed away on June 29, 2021, at the age of 23, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Stephen Empson; his aunt Cheryl Work; and his grandmother Luella Eshelman. He is survived by: his siblings, Adam Lee Johnson of Gladstone, Missouri, Amy Lynn Johnson of Independence, Missouri, Amber Lynette Smith of Great Falls, Montana, John Victor Smith of Penfield, Pennsylvania and Jason Whitney Smith of Gladstone, Missouri; his mother Vicki; his stepfather Timothy Earl McCall; and his aunt Empson. He is also survived by cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
