She was predeceased by: her parents, William R. Kennedy and Charlotte E. Kennedy (Cave); her husband Fred Philpott; and her sisters, Elizabeth Miekel and Marion Simmons.

She is survived by: her sons, John C. Philpott (Patricia) of Kansas City, MO and David R. Philpott (Dianna) of Gladstone, MO; and her grandchildren, James Brewer Jr. and Valorie Jack.
