With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Sorgen of Independence, Missouri, who passed away on January 1, 2022 at the age of 72. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Sorgen to pay them a last tribute.

He is survived by: his wife Marlene (French); his son Craig Sorgen; his daughter-in-law Alyssa; his daughter Jill Onka; his grandson Andy Onka of Independence, Missouri.; and his siblings, Sharon Chard of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Mike Sorgen of Minot and Jani Wolfe (Butch) of El Paso, Texas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and countless relatives and amazing friends.

We can all find solace knowing that Jim was loved by his Savior, and he loved Him and is at peace and rest, with a mind free from Alzheimer's, waiting for us in Heaven, with The Almighty, The Great Physician.
