He is survived by: his close friend Cheryl Sharp of Kansas City; his children, Scott Newland (Amanda Lubinski) of Odessa, MO, Danny Hedrick of Independence, MO, Michelle Shier (Billy) of Higginsville, MO, Jamie Salvo (David) of Wentzville, MO and Cassie Box (Will) of Kansas City, MO; his sister Ann Newland of Arkansas; his grandchildren, Ross Shier (Brooke), Shelby Fisher (Zach), Zoey Shier, Brighton Fleetwood, William Fleetwood, Christian Fleetwood, Bailey Box, Cayson Box, Brenten Runyon and Abigail Runyon; and his great grandchildren, Noah, Dawson and Henry. He is also survived by his family and friends.
