He is survived by: his wife Linda; his son Jimmy Martes, Jr. of Independence; his grandchildren, Patrick, Curtis, Chance and Samantha; his sister Jeanne Martes of Liberty; and his nieces, Bridgette Howell and Jennifer Irvin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
