He was predeceased by: his parents, George Barber and De'Arley Montague Barber; his parents-in-law, Larry and Claudia Thompson; his brother Victor Barber; and his children, Shannon Marcell and Lawrence Case Jr. "C. J.".
He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Barber; his children, Victor Barber (Leslie), Stirling Barber, Jennifer Barber, Annaliese Barber and Tiffany Nix; his sisters, Deidre Barber (Morris Yarnell) and Aleica Silver (Alan); his siblings-in-law, Chip Thompson, Vern Thompson (Kathy) and Debbie Barnett (Les); his grandchildren, Reade, Robert Barber, Cole Marcell, Cody Nygaard, Krysta Nix, Kassidee Valero and Charise Burke; and his pet Arrow. He is also survived by one great-granddaughter, two great grandsons, 10 nephews, 10 nieces, and one great grandson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made to Claudia's Legacy Equipment fund or to the NRA Defense fund, for which he felt strongly.
