We are sad to announce that on February 17, 2024, at the age of 77, James Eli Carlson of Independence, Missouri, born in Kansas City, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jarvis Eli and Helen R. Carlson (Harmon); and his sister Dorothy Carlson Adrian (Richard). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Meyer; his children, Justin Carlson (Morgan) of Maryville, TN, James Carlson (Christi) of Liberty, MO and Heather Naftal (Jason) of Ft. Worth, TX; and his grandchildren, Jason Robert Naftal, Madison Naftal, Austin Naftal, McKinzie Naftal, Ally Dodgen and Jordon Carlson.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to the Wounded Warrior Project.
