He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Ann Berg; and his parents, Oscar Berg and Maria Lindskog. He is survived by: his son Thomas Berg (Sharon); his granddaughter Jessica Johns (Jeremy); his great grandchildren, Payton Johns, Taylor Johns, Skyler Johns (Destiny) and Takoha Pratt; and his great great grandchild Remi Johns. He is also survived by family and friends.

Among Jack's proudest accomplishments were his love for train travel and contributions to various organizations.
