She is survived by: her spouse Homer "Jim" Steffens; her daughters, Shelly Steffens of Independence, Sandra Yefimov (Maksim) of Independence and Amanda Steffens-Chico of Independence; her grandchildren, Krystyn Steffens of Independence and Tazman Brockman; and her sisters, Hazel Hupman, Hester Young, Maxine Mangum, Donna Jackson and Diane Ford.
