He was predeceased by: his wife Bonnie Arbuckle; and his daughter Diana Carpenter. He is survived by: his son Bill (Penny); and his grandchildren, Nicole Robinson, Brian Arbuckle and Jessica Smiroldo. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
