It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Granville Morgan (Independence, Missouri), born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on September 12, 2018, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his stepfather Shellie O'Nan. He is survived by: his parents, Granville Hackett and Leola Morgan-O'Nan; his wife Donna Morgan of Independence; his daughters, Kathy Staihr (Mike) of Lee, Kristin Gochenour (Todd) of Raymore and Kim Berkstresser (Greg) of Lee; his stepchildren, Jay Smith (Laura) of Liberty and Tandy Smith of Kansas City; his grandchildren, Michael (Sarah), Katie, Connor Staihr, Allison Gochenour, Corbin Berkstresser and Morgan Berkstresser; his stepgrandchildren, Cameron Smith and Hailey Smith; and his great grandchildren, Canon Staihr and Lincoln Staihr.

The family has asked that donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Odessa.
