He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerold W Sanford and Esther Sanford (Galenbeck); his sisters, Jeanie Smith and Beverly Ingram; his granddaughter Brandy Barnel (Marker); his nephew Bobby Price; and his niece Debbie Goldsberry.
He is survived by: his wife Martha; his children, Jerry Sanford (Lana), Cindy Sanford, Joanne Mahurin (John), Christine Sanford and Gerold Sanford (AmyRose); and his sister Betty Sloan. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren.
