He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Rentfrow and Frances Rentfrow (Mariott). He is survived by: his son Brad Rentfrow; his daughter-in-law Jen Houston (Brad); and his fiancée Anna.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the First United Methodist Church of Blue Springs, or the First Tee of Greater Kansas City.
