He is survived by: his wife Terri; his children, Kimberly Lynch of Independence and Alex West (Pam) of Independence; his grandchildren, Annali and Tyler; his brother Charles West (Glenna) of Independence; his brothers-in-law, Mike Green of San Benito and Kathie Paige of Rayville; and also Dan Paige of Rayville. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Donations may be made in his name to the Prostate Cancer Foundation or the KC Area Bluegrass Music Club, at KCABMC, c/o Russell Lewis, 2717 Reynolds, Independence, MO 64055.
