It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Garry P. Gagnon of Independence, Missouri, born in Laona, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 8, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest X. Gagnon and Verna L. Gagnon; his son Chris; and his siblings, Patricia and Ernest.
He is survived by: his sons, Glen (Joan) of Williamsburg, Kansas, Gene (Yong) of Oak Grove and Dennis (Gail) of Columbia, Missouri; his wife Emily of Independence, Missouri; his daughters, Karen Eagle (David Luebbert) of Fruita, Colorado and Anne Jewell of Marion, Iowa.; and his siblings, Yvonne Nass, Blanche Rink, Thelma Kalinosky and Gregory Gagnon. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Due to varying and continued Covid concerns, a private graveside service with Rite of Christian Burial will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church & Cemetery, Emerald, Kansas.
