It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances McCollum of Independence, Missouri, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on December 22, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald McCollum; and her brother Richard Johnston. She is survived by: her daughters, Stephanie Goodfellow (Pat), Delorse Sword (Maury) and Jeri Evans; her grandchildren, Brett Goodfellow, Megan Sword, Jessica Hissong (Brady) and Jamie Evans; and her great grandchildren, Palmer and Brelynn Hissong.

Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in her honor.
