It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emily J Kreisler (Independence, Missouri), born in Mason City, Iowa, who passed away on March 29, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Merle Anna (Kluckhohn) and Theodore Tokheim; and her sisters, Margaret Chandler and Eleanor Clark (Fritz). She is survived by: her children, Austin Kreisler (Debbie), Eric Kreisler and Mary Cromwell (Chuck). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many nieces', nephews and friends.
In honor of Emily, the family suggests contributions to the Independence First United Methodist Church, 400 West Maple Ave, Independence, MO 64050 or Meals on Wheels, Independence, MO where she and Fritz both volunteered.
