He was predeceased by: his son Dennis Ellis. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellis (George); his children, Harold Ellis (Pam), Paulette Holst (Calvin), Rhonda Ellis (Jenny) and Lana Morris (Stan); his adoptive daughters, Joy Ellis and Hope Romeo (Matt); and his brothers, Sid and Doyle Ellis.
