She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Fiorella and Rose Fiorella; her children, Rosalie Butkovich (Clayton A. Newton) and David B. Newton; and her brother Sam James.

She is survived by: her husband Clayton; her daughter Josephine Newton-Lund; her son-in-law Richard Lund; her grandchildren, Gunnar Newton Lund of Cambridge, MA and Victoria Ruth Lund; and her sister Marie J. Baggett. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
