She is survived by: her mother Wilma Higginbotham of Independence, MO.; her husband John Herndon; her children, Amanda Kathleen Herndon and Austin Cushing of Raytown, MO; and her siblings, Linda Benson, Thomas Higginbotham of Independence, MO and David Higginbotham of Marshall, MO. She is also survived by 2 granddaughters and 11 nieces and nephews.
