She is survived by: her husband Tracy Schmidt; her daughter Devon Smith; her brother Dan Braga (Sandy); her stepchildren, Adam Corniels (Nay), Bridget Avery and Charles; her nieces, Rachel and Laura Braga; her grandchildren, Corbin and Milo Smith; and her friends, Julie, Ginny, Sherwyn, Deb, Pam, Joe, Lisa, Chrissy, Billy, Max, Bruce and Sebastian.

Betsy worked, assisted and led numerous charity fundraisers, such as Harvesters, Susan G. Komen Cancer Society, Golf Tournaments, Bowling Tournaments, and other charity fundraisers too numerous to list.
