He is survived by: his parents, Henry Compernolle and Mary Van Compernolle; his wife Rita Van Compernolle; his sons, Mark Van Compernolle (Karen) of Dallas, TX, Bruce Van Compernolle (Konnie) of Independence, MO, Edward Van Compernolle and Carly Duquette of Lee; and his great grandchildren, Nova Hoberg, Dawson Smith, Jolene Gamboa, Parker Van Compernolle, McKinleigh Ward, Andi Smith, Heidi Gamboa and Keaton Ward.
