He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Wilson Irwin and Della Irwin (Walker); and his siblings, Belle of Missouri, Elsie, Virginia, Edward, Floyd and Dar.

He is survived by: his wife Celia Elaine Irwin (Lynn); his children, Marcy Irwin and Scott Irwin (Beth); and his grandchildren, Kourtlyn Irwin, Anna Irwin (Wyatt Knudsen) and Tim Irwin (Carli McFarland). He is also survived by his family and friends.
