It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Earlene Elizabeth Townsend of Independence, Missouri, who passed away on March 15, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert McCorkindale and Ida McCorkindale (Marrow); her husband Ralph Townsend; her daughter Marsha Temple; and her siblings, Bob McCorkindale, Shirley Richardson and Marilyn Lance.
She is survived by: her sons, Ronald Townsend (Nancy) and Randall Townsend; her grandchildren, Rusty Townsend, Martie Pinzino, Brian Temple, Lori Dowd, Leah Conttrell, Brandon Temple and Evan Woods; and her great grandchild Dolly.
