He is survived by: his son Geoffrey; his daughter-in-law Lisa Kays of Dallas, Texas; his son Justin; his daughter-in-law Jasmine Kays of St. Louis, Missouri; his grandchildren, Julian Kays, Jocelyn Kays and Jack Scheffing; and his mother-in-law Waneta Matthews of Springfield.
