It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dottie Georgene Reel of Independence, Missouri, born in Fort Scott, Kansas, who passed away on December 11, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Mason and Dorotha Mae Mason (Babbitt); her husband Reel, Sr.; and her sister Dixie. She is survived by: her children, Dixie Cravens (Cameron), Brenda Keith (Kevin) and Friend Reel, Jr. (Cheryl). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Crossroads Hospice, Bethel Baptist Church, Independence, MO, or the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network in Jean's name.
