He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Lowery and Beulah Lowery; his siblings, Doris Kemp and Gary Lowery; and his son Lonnie Carl Lowery.

He is survived by: his iconic black Corvette; his wife Jean Lowery; his children, Paula Lowery (Jeff), Shelly Smith (Tyler), Dan Couch, Rich Couch (Richelle) and Levin Lowery (Sandy); and his sister Leona Shelton (Delbert). He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
