With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Elwyn Burke (Independence, Missouri), born in Earlville, Iowa, who passed away on June 7, 2022 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donald Elwyn Burke to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Loren Burke, Amy Sams, Walter [Bud] Burke and Bob Burke. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Burke; his sister Agnes Hinman (Dot); and his children, Kim Burke (Nancy), Tary Stayton (Mark) and Cindy Hensley (William). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren, and numerous close nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the Hope House in memory of Don.
