With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dennis Levi Overbay of Independence, Missouri, who passed away on January 2, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley May Phillips; his children, Michael Overbay (Candy), Jill Tindall (Duane), Phillip Overbay and Karen Stegmann (Ron Godard); and his great grandchildren, Brother James Overbay (Linda) and Sister Linda Defoor (Bill).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to: Sterling Acres Baptist Church; 11200 E 47th St. KCMO 64133.
