He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Doug Mathis and Shirley Mathis; his sister Debbie of Nancy, Mary; his nieces and nephews, Steve, Angela, Jeff, Andy, Laura, Holly, Ben and Joe; his aunt Marilee; and his cousin Sarah. He was also cherished by 14 great nieces.
