He was predeceased by: his parents, Byrle L. Hines and Effie Lucinda Hines (Fullmer); his wife Joan Macrae of Independence; his son Paul; and his brother Eugene.
He is survived by: his brother Robert (Audrey) of Northville, MI; his children, David, Steven, Matthew and Elaine; and his friends, Linda Blanchard, John Glenn, Nadine Volz, Del, Anne Alden and Clayton Seder. He is also survived by six grandchildren; by nine great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions to Feeding America, Food for the Poor, or the Carter Center would be welcomed.
