He was predeceased by: his father George W. Horton; and his grandparents, Ray, Beulah Dennis, John and Ruth Beil.

He is survived by: his mother Janet Horton; his brother Kevin Horton (Sarah); and his nieces, Savannah and Kylie Horton. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, family suggest donations to be made in Craig's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
