He was predeceased by: his daughter Debbrah Lynn (Lawrence Day); his parents, Johnny Crownover and Geneva Crownover; his brothers, Carroll and Darrell; his grandson Jason Lee Day; his great grandchild Angelina Renee Moren; and his grandson Joshua Eli Hatfield.

He is survived by: his wife Delores Mae Crownover (Troup); his daughters, Edna Joyce Moren (Don), Veronica Jean Hatfield (Wayne) and Brenda Denise Sewell (Fred Helvie); and his sister Carolyn Loretta Ferguson (late Merle).
