He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Tompkins and Mary Elizabeth Tompkins (Wyman); his daughter Carrie Lee Tompkins; and his sister Mary Jean Wright. He is survived by: his wife Carole Tompkins of Independence, MO; his children, Kelly Lynne Tompkins of Independence, MO and Brian Lee Tompkins (Bridgette) of Gallatin, MO; his grandchildren, Alexx Tompkins, Brianna Tompkins, Daltonn Tompkins and Kharlie McLeod (Daren); his daughter Mandy Rachelle Brown (Joseph) of Independence, MO; his grandchild Kelsie Thomas (Dakota); and his children, Malorie Walker (Ellis), Colton Brown and Dustin Michael McCoy Tompkins of Independence, MO. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
