He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Shrout and Bernice Shrout (Jones); his brother Thomas Shrout; and his grandsons, Justin and William.
He is survived by: his wife Harriett Lee Shrout (Swearingen); his sons, David Shrout (Joanne), Paul Shrout (Diana), Charles Shrout (Kelly) and Norris Shrout (Brenda); his sister Elizabeth Legg of Jacksonville, OR; his grandchildren, Beth McDow, Joshua, Chad, Jon, Adam, Robert, Kevin and Steven; his great grandchildren, Jensen Price, Charlotte Price, Charles Price, Penelope Price and Barrett Price; and his cousin Paula Jones. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite church or organization of your choice, in honor of Charles.
