He was predeceased by: his mother Billie Carpenter (Bryant); and his brother Richard F. Carpenter. He is survived by: his father Lloyd D. Carpenter Sr.; and his siblings, Lloyd Dean Carpenter Jr. (Deanna) of Independence, MO, Jonathan Britt Carpenter (Susan) and Jane Ellen Templeton (Edward) of Independence, MO. He is also survived by 15 nieces and nephews 25 Great nieces and nephews 8 Great-great nieces and nephews.
