Carolyn E. Highfill Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn E. Highfill of Independence, Missouri, who passed away on January 17, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Wright and Dorothy Wright (Julian); her husband Harvey Carl Highfill; and her sisters, Etta Mae Dutton, Susan LaRoque and Rebecca Batts.
She is survived by: her children, Tony Highfill (Connie) of Independence, Paul Highfill (Leanne) of Independence and Brenda Highfill of Independence; her siblings, Barbara Rainey of Grain Valley and Dale Wright of Cameron, MO.; her grandchildren, Kyle Highfill (Crystal), Jennifer Garrett (Timmy), Brittany Highfill, Karlie Henthorne (Julia Smith), Brad Geveshausen (Tiffany) and Brandon Geveshausen (Shana Hatfield); and her great grandchildren, Julianna, Dominic Highfill, Mason, Skylar Garrett, Jayden, Khloe Clark, Braxton, Evelyn Berlynn, Piper Geveshausen, Brandi, Aimee and Cora Geveshausen.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the The Luxe Event Space (200 N Liberty St, Independence, MO 64050).
