It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carole Veronica Cooney of Independence, Missouri, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on December 9, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her husband John Cooney; her children, Patrick Cooney (Yeong) and Mary Cooney; her granddaughters, Emily and Leslie Cooney; and her sister Delores Wartick. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
