With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Ashley (Independence, Missouri), who passed away on November 20, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Dorothy Eckart and Elmer Eckart; her husband Richard Bates Ashley; her brother Neil Eckart (Bonnie); her son Richard (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Spencer and Gwendolyn; her great grandchild Daniel Ashley; and her son Mathew Ashley (Linda).
By her 78th birthday, it was evident she needed around-the-clock care which her family wasn't able to provide and she moved to an Alzheimer's care facility.
