It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Burns of Independence, Missouri, who passed away on August 23, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl J. and Vera C. (Lett); and his sister Carol Cary. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Burns of Independence, MO; his daughters, Kristy Burns (Justin Ewer) of Lawrence, KS, Stephanie Schneider of Blue Springs, MO and Lisa Fox (Donna Calipetro) of Lewisville, TX; and his sister Kathy Stapleton of Booneville, MO.. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
His family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
