It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bruce Silas Phelps in Independence, Missouri, born in Portland, Oregon, who passed away on November 28, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Ira Phelps and Eleanor Mae Phelps (Baldwin); and his brothers, Vernon Phelps, Dennis Phelps, Rick Phelps, Roger Phelps and Leslie Phelps.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Phelps; his children, Becky White (Eddie) and David Phelps (Terri); his grandchildren, Ben White (Alicia), Jonny White, Mitchell White, Andy Phelps (Caroline), Rachel Phelps and Brandon Green; his great grandchildren, J. D. White and Teddy Phelps; and his siblings, Ray Phelps, Pat Phelps and Darlene Braun. He is also survived by his family and friends.
