It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Benton Burnette Dick (Independence, Missouri), born in Hamilton, Missouri, who passed away on October 19, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Dick and Mary Dick (Burnett); his sisters, Twyla Shay, Wanda Johnson and Maude Utt; and his nieces, Karey Utt and Debbie Liggatt.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Dick; his daughters, Erika Ezzell (Brandon) and Melissa Jonas; his grandchildren, Jackson Ezzell (Emily) and Sloane Jonas; and his siblings, Theresa Cox (Jim) and Chuck McMullin. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends and neighbors.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Speaks Suburban Chapel (18020 East 39th St S, Independence, MO 64055). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
