With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara D. Foster of Independence, Missouri, born in Stockton, Missouri, who passed away on February 24, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Bridges and Georgia Bridges (Hudson); her husband Harold; her grandson Grant Foster; and her siblings, Brenda Bredehoeft, Beverly Robertson and Freddie Bridges.

She is survived by: her children, Melodye Nicholls (Steve) of Blue Springs, MO and Brian Foster (Kim) of Bates City, MO; her grandchildren, Jared Nicholls (Jennifer) of Blue Springs, MO, Cassandra Nicholls of Grain Valley, MO, Briana Wallace of Bates City, MO and Zachary Foster (Amanda) of Independence, MO; her great grandchildren, Mason, Memphis and Beau; and her siblings, Betty High (Don) of Lee's Summit, MO, James Bridges (Kathy) of Stockton, MO and Lynda Hamilton (Denny) of Oak Grove, MO. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Advanced Home Health & Hospice of Kansas City, 9233 Ward Parkway, Suite 275, Kansas City, MO 64114.
