Anthony Arden Day Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anthony Arden Day of Independence, Missouri, born in Tacoma, Washington, who passed away on March 9, 2022 at the age of 55. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Day and Sharon Day. He is survived by: his significant other Shelia Terry; his children, Joe Day (Lyndsy Strouse) and Sheleena Day; his former wife Jeanette; his children, Amber Dahl (Pete), Jonathan Day and Beth Day; and his sisters, Cynthia Jones (Steve) and Carmon Day (Sharon Hayes). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and longtime friends.
Anthony had a zest for life which he displayed by dressing up in costumes for holidays, even during three years on dialysis and while visiting (at appropriate social distancing) with family/friends during COVID shut down.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been set up to purchase a memorial bench to be placed in Waterfall Park (Bass Pro, Independence, Missouri) where everyone can go and enjoy the beauty and reflections of Anthony.
