She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert H. Glatt and Anna M. Glatt; her husband Robert Guy Derickson; and her daughter Cynthia Derickson. She is survived by: her children, Alan Derickson and Raye Derickson (Nancy); her grandchildren, Brian Derickson, Tad Derickson and Kate Felchia; her great grandchildren, Riley Derickson, Lucas Derickson and Lydia Derickson; and her sister Fern Hopkins (Charles).

Memorial donations in Shirley's Honor may be made to American Cancer Society.
