She was predeceased by: her parents, George Laird and Janie Laird; her husband Arthur Hawkins; and her son James "Doug" Cox. She is survived by: her children, David "Mike" Cox (Gail), Janie Marie LaMear (late Robert), Susan Maxine Terry (late Ricky), Timothy Cox (Marilyn), Jeff Cox, Dan Cox and Ruby.
